Judy Graham's new edition ‘Managing Multiple Sclerosis Naturally – A Self-Help Guide to Living with MS’ published by Healing Arts Press, Vermont, USA.
This book covers every single aspect of managing MS in a mostly drug-free way: Diet, supplements, exercise, complementary therapies, detoxing, treatment for CCSVI (Chronic Cerebro-Spinal Venous Insufficiency) and clearing the mind of negativity. The positive message from this book is that – with lifestyle changes and certain therapies – MS can be controlled. For some, it can even be reversed. To counter the critics who say “there is no evidence.” Judy has gone to great lengths to research and list all the scientific data on these therapies.
Ashton Embry, who wrote the Foreword, calls it “by far the most comprehensive, objective and scientifically sound overview of all the options a person with MS has to help keep the MS disease process well controlled.”
Judy, 63, was diagnosed with MS 37 years ago but she still walks, and works as editor of New Pathways, the MSRC’s acclaimed magazine. Her son Pascal is now 25. She first wrote Multiple Sclerosis – The Self-Help Guide’ in 1981, but so much has happened since then that it needed total revision. Over the years, Judy has followed many of the therapies suggested in her book, including The Best Bet Diet; supplements and eliminating food sensitivities. She also regularly does Pilates, Shiatsu and Acupuncture, and takes Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs.
