Speakeasier is managed by a Board of Trustees and Directors, all of whom are volunteers.

We currently need to strengthen our team with additional members. Others contribute in a variety of ways, helping us with administration, marketing and most importantly fund raising. If you would be interested in offering us the benefit of your experience we shall be pleased to hear from you.

In particular, we are currently looking for a Public Relations (PR) Volunteer to:-

i) Increase public awareness of our vital work;
ii) Strenghten our list of corporate sponsors;
iii) Look for new marketing initiatives to raise Speakeasier’s profile locally and nationally;
iv) Prepare and submit press releases to local and national media where appropriate.

Speakeasier is run entirely by volunteers, many of who have MS. The PR Volunteer will join our highly motivated team. Ideally the volunteer should come from a marketing/PR background and have expertise in copy-writing.
